Is putting omega 3,6,9 oil in my eye as lubricant dangerous?

is putting omega 3,6,9 oil in my eye as lubricant dangerous? Please explain why if so.Is putting omega 3,6,9 oil in my eye as lubricant dangerous?
Ok are these drops made to be put in your eyes??? If they aren't then do not put them in your eyes. Omega 3,6,9 is good for your eyesight if you ingest it not put it in your eyes. I'm not exactly sure what would happen if you did put it in your eyes.... probably irritate them and hurt them. So whatever the product is for use it for that purpose only. Find a lubricant that is specifically made for eyes.Is putting omega 3,6,9 oil in my eye as lubricant dangerous?
gosh... thats really random.... it's probably not dangerous but probably irritating. Since your eye is made of lipids and protein anywyas. THe oil would just reside to the side of your eye and it would come out..
why dont you ask an optometrist a question like that?
ummmm i dont think u should put that in ur eye.... weirdo
Are you serious. You should only put products in your eyes that are specifically for eyes. There's all kinds of eye lubricants you can buy.
I would not put it in your eyes because it could be an irritant. My eye doctor suggested taking it as an oral supplement because it can help your eyes produce their own lubrication. I have been doing this for over a year and it seems to help.
Let me see you are putting OIL in your eyes and you can still see, don't think so.

What lubricant be used during sex, oil, jelly etc???????????????///////?

The basic rule is that if you're using a condom, you must use a water or silicone based lube, not an oil based one. Here is an article that goes more in detail about it, so you might want to check it out.

http://www.edenfantasys.com/sex-guides-a鈥?/a>What lubricant be used during sex, oil, jelly etc???????????????///////?
K-Y.. go to a drugstore..What lubricant be used during sex, oil, jelly etc???????????????///////?
store bought for this particular activity, k-y or water-based, i would not let anyone use oil, or vaseline, not unless i wanted to douche with dawn afterward lol, just plain gross. spring for the good stuff.
Give her head first and this will make her naturally wet down there.
KY or AstroGlide (my favorites) :) please only use one of these two. a little goes a long way as well, so worth buying some.
Saliva is the best non sticky non greasy lubricant to be used during sex
K Y Jelly is the best and it is safe.

Somethings irritate you.
water base lube., 'cause oil and oil based lube causes does not properly promote self-lubrication and could therefore result in skin irritation/ bruises. K-Y offers some great products you could try. You can also try a brand called Moist Again, they're also great. Also increase sexual intercourse actually promotes self- lubrication. Also refrain from using non-conventional stuff like yogurt or soap and stuff like that.

You could also try good 'ol fashion fore-play or some tongue action to stimulate her and yourself while you at it.

Tip: try honey it's good in a lot of ways :)
AstroGlide all the way!!!
If you use latex condoms, do NOT use anything with oil or fatty ingredients, because they rot out the latex and cause condom failure. So, do NOT use

--butter

--Crisco

--petroleum jelly

--hand lotion

--baby oil

--mineral oil

--vegetable oil

--olive oil

They will all ruin condoms.

There are lots of safe personal lubricants made for use during sex. K-Y Jelly is famous, but it is messy and gets sticky quickly during use. K-Y makes other products that are better for sex, but watch out for ';warming'; lotions because they can feel too hot or be irritating.

Lots of other companies make good sex lubes too. Most are based on water and glycerin, and these all dry up during use. Some are based on silicone or variants like dimethicone, and they don't dry up during use. Our favorite silicone lube is WET Platinum. (Wet makes other water based lubes, only the Platinum version is the silicone lube.)
Ky works and so does protolium jelly. ky is the best comes in deffrent types and also it works great for messageing oil. when going to the gorcier store go to the flu isle and look for the condums near it. next to the condums the lubericants should be right there!

Is it safe to use baby oil as a lubricant during sex with my pregnant fiance?

Before knowing we were pregnant my fiance and I used baby oil during sex almost every time we had it, we never had any issues or bad reactions, however when finding out she was pregnant we stopped using it for fear it may harm the baby in some way plus we kinda didn't need it because she was a lot wetter. But now later in her pregnancy she is for some reason having issues with dryness and she has a very hard time getting wet, so we were both wondering is it in fact harmful in away to use baby oil during sex when pregnant? She's too embarrassed to ask her doctor and I've found no information on the subject over the internet, so I turned here.

Thank you very much!

Also, just thought I'd add, I understand baby oil is not suppose to be used as lubricant, but we have tried actual lubricant and simply enjoyed baby oil more and figured since neither of us had any issues from it and been using it for 3 years, we were fine.Is it safe to use baby oil as a lubricant during sex with my pregnant fiance?
Pregnant or not, baby oil should never be used as lubricant... anything oil based should never be used as a lubricantIs it safe to use baby oil as a lubricant during sex with my pregnant fiance?
The best thing to use is water based lubricant.

Buy some KY, a little goes a long way.
No! you shouldn't use baby oil at all, its for external use only.
You NEED to talk to your doctor as using anything that isnt made to go up in these areas could cause some serious damage with long term use and thats when you not pregnant. If she is pregnant DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT use this!!!!! It could cause a serious infection and possiably harm your child!!!!!!!

  • Which is the best lubricant to use without using condoms? Oil based etc.?

I'm happily married so please don't lecture me aout safe sex.Which is the best lubricant to use without using condoms? Oil based etc.?
KY seems to make the best products. Just be sure to do a ';small'; experiment before using the Warming gels. Some people have a reaction to them. KY is water soluble so clean-up is easier.Which is the best lubricant to use without using condoms? Oil based etc.?
Silicone based are best unless you are also using silicone toys. Silicone is more slick and lasts much longer. A little goes a long way. In that case, go with a water-based, glycerin-free lube. You probably don't want to use the ones with glycerin as they could trigger your wife to get a yeast infection because of the sugars in the lube.

Most lubes you can find in any grocery or drug store are the kind that contain glycerin. You can order some great ones online. Check out www.smittenkittenonline.com for some high quality ones.
Ky is the best, oil base make the woman feel uncomfortable after.
ky lube will definitley result in long nights

Trying for pregnancy .. is baby oil harmful as a lubricant ?

we've been trying to conceive for the last 6 months ... we use baby oil instead of ky jelly as lubricant ... is it safe ?Trying for pregnancy .. is baby oil harmful as a lubricant ?
No! It definitely is not safe!!!!

You need to use a lubricant called PRESEED You can do a google on this product. You can find it on the many websites including

    www.earlypregnancytests.com and also on Amazon.com

This is one of the lubricants that has been tested to be sperm safe. Most are not. KY and Baby oil are not safe if you want a baby.Trying for pregnancy .. is baby oil harmful as a lubricant ?
The best things to use I have read are olive oil, egg whites, and Pre Seed. I have never tried egg whites and it sounds gross but I have heard it is the best- also spit......
oil based lube are not ok for anyone you safest choice is water base spermacide free one
Baby Oil is disgusting isnt it.
stop using the baby oil. it is not ';sperm friendly.'; use sperm friendly products like pre-seed, or else your man will be shooting his wad for nothing. baby oil, KY jelly, astroglide, and similar products kill sperm and inhibit their movement. pre-seed and comparable products help the sperm swim and keep them alive longer. pre-seed has helped many women on their TTC journey. GL. HTH
NO! You have probably been killing the sperm using this method. The ONLY type of lubricants that are safe to use when ttc is ';Preconcieve'; I think its sold in wal-mart, and then there's ';Pre Seed'; which you can buy online. These are sperm friendly lubricants that will actually help keep the sperm alive and make their travel to the uterus easier because they mimic your natural body fluids. Spit, lube, oil, pretty much everything can kill sperm even if it isn't a spermicide. I hear a lot of couples who conceive on their first try using Pre-Seed, maybe you should give it a shot. Good luck and please do not use any unconventional methods for TTC unless OK'ed by your doctor otherwise you will just be causing damage. Good luck
Don't use baby oil. Order a lubricant that is made for sex. I wouldn't feel safe using baby oil. It is too oily feeling. You need another one. I use this one from pureromance.com %26amp; it is called ';sensations' If you blow on it gets hot. I love that one you should try it. It is cheap too:) Under $15

I've been trying to find a NON-WARMING lubricant that can also be used as a massage oil. Everything we've?

tried so far (when we can find one that's non-warming) has been very sticky used as a massage oil. Does anyone have any suggestions? PLEASE...only mature, adult answers?I've been trying to find a NON-WARMING lubricant that can also be used as a massage oil. Everything we've?
Haven't been able to find one for both either.

We use regular massage oil from the body shop(canada) for massages and (can't think of name) for lube. Its a small black plastic bottle with a flip top. We actually got it at the grocerie store. They have mens and womans from the same brand. We are using just the mens and it awesome! You have to use a fair bit but its not sticky at all..... Oh got me all worked up thinking about it!!!!

Used it yesterday! Its called Glide.

Happy sexing!I've been trying to find a NON-WARMING lubricant that can also be used as a massage oil. Everything we've?
Try going to an adult store that sells those items and consult a sales rep. They have TONS of different kinds of lubricants. They will be able to direct you to a lubricant that has the warming sensation you are looking for.

Is cooking oil safe to use as a personal lubricant??

THERE'S NO SUCH THING AS A STUPID QUESTION JUST WILD GIRLS!!!!Is cooking oil safe to use as a personal lubricant??
I think that vasaline or ky jelly might be the better idea good luck mate.Is cooking oil safe to use as a personal lubricant??
is the oil used or fresh?!?!

If you're into that kinda of thing but it will NOT agree with condoms. Think about getting some KY instead...less fetish!!

Can i use butter or veggie oil for anal sex lubricant?

i know food in the vagina is asking for bateria infections. what about the anus. can i use butter or shortning or veggie oil for lube before anal loving? Can i use butter or veggie oil for anal sex lubricant?
You could use crisco, which I think is vegetable shortening, but it doesn't feel very nice.

    Pick up some KY instead.

Butter or like olive oil will not work. Can i use butter or veggie oil for anal sex lubricant?
if you're planning on barebacking go ahead...which is one of the most irresponsible and selfish sex acts there is

personally I would use a rubber so I would not contract HIV or any other STD
You can, but I wouldn't recommend it. Neither will work as well as a lubricant made particularly for anal sex.

But they'll do fine in a pinch. But you cannot use them with condoms for safe sex- the butter or shortening will render them useless in preventing disease transmission.

    Hope that helps.
yes, but it will attack rubbers...
you should buy a lubricant at the pharmacy.
I would think it would cause the same problems as infections. Why use those when there are enough other products out there that work very well and don't cause any problems. They work very well. It's something that is not only for men, but for women too, and believe me, use the products that are out there, you will be much happier and not smell like a kitchen.
You can but would recomend you buy some good lube.

Oil is a lubricant, but so is silicone, graphite, and butter. The heavy duty silicone will be fine for what you are needing.

I used baby oil as a lubricant...?

and the next day my vagina started to itch really bad and still does a week later. do you think i have an infection or sometihng? and if so, what should i use to cure it!I used baby oil as a lubricant...?
If it is an infection, it is always better to see a doctor. But if you think that it is an yeast infection, you can buy over the counter medications. If it is other type of a vaginal infection, then it is better get help from a doctor.

Baby oil may cause an infection, if you are allergic to it or if some part of the baby oil chemical is not accepted by your vaginal wall. (allergic reactions). There are many oil products and lubricants specifically made to use in the vaginal area. Please don't put what ever you want in there.... go and buy good lubricants from the store. It will cost you more, if you get sick because of other stuff you put in.I used baby oil as a lubricant...?
Sometimes fragrance can cause irritation, and there's fragrance in baby oil.

See a doctor since it hasn't gone away in a week. Irritation can make it easier to get a yeast or bacterial infection, and that might have happened.

Water based lube like KY or Astroglide is relatively inexpensive and less likely to cause irritation, for next time.
I don't think baby oil is intended for that.

I don't know if you used a condom, if you did, chances are the oil weakened it as well as making you itchy.

You should go to the doctor.

Btw, stick to water based lubricants specifically designed for that purpose next time. You can buy them in the condom section.
You should only use water based lubricants in your vagina. While hypo-allergenic, the oil still traps bacteria and alters the PH of your vagina because it doesn't get absorbed...it just stays in there. You almost certainly have a yeast infection.
for one.. after the next day could be it.. the oil.. go with the safe stuff.. KY.. or the water base stuffs.. baby oil has additives.. ive used it and it dont last.. smells.. and yes itches
You have Thrush. You get it when 'unnatural' things are down there. Get some thrush cream from the chemist.
well i don't think tha baby oil did it because rthey are hypo algergenic ?? so what ever it is you better see a doctor !

    Olive oil as a lubricant?

Could I use olive oil as a lubricant on a condom? Thanks.Olive oil as a lubricant?
No. Use a water-based lubricant; oil causes condoms to break.Olive oil as a lubricant?
i wouldn't... the girl would probably get a yeast infection.

Baby oil as a sexual lubricant?

Usually me and my boyfriend use KY jelly during sex but we find it dries out fast and we have to re-apply every so often during sex. This can get pretty costly since we're a very sexually healthy couple having sex a few times a week. Yesterday for the first time we tried using baby oil as a lube and the sensation was great but are there any side effects to this? Or is it generally good as long as its not done all the time?Baby oil as a sexual lubricant?
You should NEVER use baby oil as a sexual lubricant. Never, ever.

It destroys condoms, so if that was your method of birth control you need to go out right now and get the morning after pill.

It also can cause a vaginal infection.

Honestly, if you need that much lube I question whether or not your boyfriend is doing his job in getting you turned on enough before sex. But some women (particularly after menopause) also don't lubricate enough.

Pay for lube, it isn't worth getting an infection to save a few bucks. Silicone lubes last longer, so you may want to try one of those. Never, ever put anything in your vagina that is not labelled for that use.Baby oil as a sexual lubricant?
If you use condoms as contraception, then you're playing a risky game! Baby oil will dissolve a condom in about 30 minutes leaving you at risk of pregnancy. There are many different lubes out there now so try a different one! There are plenty that will give you different sensations, and are safe with condoms. If you don't use condoms at all then the baby oil won't do you any harm if used occasionally, but it may cause some irritation for both you and your partner. If you are finding that vaginal dryness during sex is a problem, it may be worth having a check up at your local sexual health clinic. Have fun!! :o)
VERY bad plan... baby oil will weaken (and can even *dissolve*) condoms. (Not only that but your vagina can't rinse it out very easily and it can become a nice home for infections to start).

Instead of water-based lubes (such as K-Y), try silicone-based ones (like ';Wet Platinum';)... they're condom-safe, they feel smooth as silk, they last for *hours* (even in the shower), a little goes a really long way, and they wash off right quick with just a little soap. (They're not good for siilicone-surfaced toys though: they partly dissolve the material and will make your toys all sticky).
Don't use it down there!!! it may cause infection...there are many many lubes out there for all different types of sensations and there are also some that are meant to be long lasting. Go to my website www.yourgspot.net and checkout the '; Slick Stick';. That is thick and made of Aloe for long lasting love making. There is also ';Revelation'; that reactivates with water and is waterbased, which is better for you than silicone based lube. Good Luck and have lots of fun!!! Any question feel free to ask.
You need to be careful that the mild scent in the baby oil does not cause irritation.

Also - there is some evidence that oils like baby oil can damage condoms or diaphragms - leaving you at slightly higher risk of pregnancy if you rely on these methods

Otherwise - go for it !
you shouldnt use oil based solutions on condoms

it states this in the instructions for condoms (haha)

it weakens the condoms and they will therefore be prone to snapping
Dont use baby oil me and husband both had rashes down there for 4-5 days .

I used baby oil as a lubricant.....?

and the next day my vagina started to itch really bad and still does a week later. do you think i have an infection or sometihng? and if so, what should i use to cure it!I used baby oil as a lubricant.....?
    Not a home/garden question.

And you should see a doctor. NO lubricant except water-based personal lubes should be used for sex (or even regular moisture needs). You probably do have an infection.I used baby oil as a lubricant.....?
go to women's health and post this question, not really a home %26amp; garden question
