Would adding tea tree oil to lubricant help prevent yeast infections?

I am curious as to whether or not adding a few drops of tea tree oil to lubricant would be a good idea to prevent passing yeast infections back and forth. I know men can often be carriers of yeast without symptoms so I would hate to make him take medications for something that doesn't hurt him...

The answer is probably no. The issue is usually vaginal ph that allows for overgrowth of yeast. You need to find out what is happening, If you are on the pill some women have ph changes or antibiotics which frequently cause yeast infections by removing competitive organisms.

If the only time you are troubled is after sex then you need to consider what you two are doing. If there is any anal play one must be careful about movement back and forth between the anal area to vaginal area. If all else fails have him checked especially if he in uncircumcised.

Don't ignore recurrent yeast infections they are usually a sign of some other issue altering your normal sexual health. An oocasional yeast infection is nearly unaviodable and responds well to OTC treatment.Would adding tea tree oil to lubricant help prevent yeast infections?
Tea Tree oil is actually a natural cure for a yeast infection. It can be used to help restore a normal PH level to your vaginal area, which will eliminate a yeast infection..

The tea tree oil can also be used to help prevent a yeast infection. A good way to get it into the correct area of your body, is to place a few drops onto the tip of a tampon, and insert it into your vagina. This is a wonderful tip during your period.
