How can I recycle, used engine lubricant oil?

As you know, that oil is a heavy pollutant, it is important to recycle, please give all the information.How can I recycle, used engine lubricant oil?
I believe it can be used as a wood preservative on fences, sheds etc. much like creosote. Don't get it on the plants though.How can I recycle, used engine lubricant oil?
It depends where you live.





Most cities in the US have a recycling program and have a location where you can take old engine oil. Also, most sores that sell engine oil also have the facilities for taking old oil and sending it for recycling. Just ask at the store where you buy your new oil.
Any service station that changes oil is required to take used oil from persons who change their own, in some states. Also ask Cooperative extension from your county or state where and when hazardous materials are going to be collected for disposal or recycling. Walmart generally has a receptacle for the oil.
