Are timing belts oiled in cars. and is that oil the motor oil or a separate lubricant?

Only timing chains come oiled any rubber belts should always be dry if you get oil or any fluid on a timing belt or drive belt you will have problems for sure.Are timing belts oiled in cars. and is that oil the motor oil or a separate lubricant?
you can use belt dressing if a belt is squeeking. but never put oil on a belt.Are timing belts oiled in cars. and is that oil the motor oil or a separate lubricant?
belt no oil at all is dry


if its a chain gets some oil
