What can I substitute for machine oil in a small appliance? I do have WD40 and Silicone Spray lubricant onhand

Use a couple of drops of 10 or 20 W oil.

WD is good stuff but it won't withstand the requirements for lubrication for your small appliance.

WD-40 is a great product, but the smell indoors is not. It is also flammable. Depends on the appliance and what you are expecting the product to do. I use 3 in 1 oil for most light lubricating. What can I substitute for machine oil in a small appliance? I do have WD40 and Silicone Spray lubricant onhand
I think wd-40 would be fine.
a drop or two of cooking oil would work.
